I am an online therapist with over 10 years of experience, specializing in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) — a unique, evidence-based approach to trauma therapy.If you've always felt things more deeply than others, you've probably spent years wondering if something is wrong with you. Maybe you've been called too sensitive, too much or felt not enough. Nothing is wrong with you. You're a deeply feeling person in a world that doesn't always know how to hold that and often praises emotional shutdown.I'm Ruta, an empath myself. My own healing journey took me through different therapeutic approaches before I found AEDP - and it changed everything. Experiencing it as a client gave me something no training alone could: I know from the inside what it feels like to move from overwhelm into groundedness, from survival mode into yourself. That journey is what shaped me into the regulated, grounded therapist I am today.I created Roots Therapy specifically for people like us - those who feel deeply, absorb everything, and are ready to come home to themselves. Together we'll work gently with your nervous system regulation, helping you move from survival mode into a life that finally feels like your own. I'll walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity and genuine understanding.

- CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, with a mindfulness-based experiential approach- Fully registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) — providing ethical, accredited online therapy in the UK- Level 3 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) Therapist, including:
- AEDP Core Training
- Essential Skills AEDP Certification
- Advanced Skills AEDP and supervision hours
- AEDP Immersion Course Certificate
- Assisting in AEDP Essential Skills Training- Specialist Training in Mindfulness Techniques, including facilitation of mindfulness workshops- Experience in Working with Obesity and Weight Management as part of an NHS commissioned service- Training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)- Facilitation of Psycho-educational Groups within NHS commissioned programs- Experience in Psychological Assessments in
